Synchronization
1. Local synchronization
Scheduling dates of task items are permamently reflected in the local
calendar (i.e. the standard calendar app on a symbian phone, or the Outlook®
calendar on Windows®). In detail:
- If you enter a scheduling date/time or a due date for a task item in OrgYou, a calendar
entry is created with the same details.
- If you delete such a task item in OrgYou, or remove the scheduling detail
from the task item, the corresponding calendar entry
is deleted.
- If you delete such a calendar entry using your calendar app, it will be recreated
by OrgYou.
- If you change the values of calendar entry using your calendar app,
the changes are reflected in OrgYou (since version 1.1.0)
2. Synchronization with other systems
Since OrgYou scheduling information is reflected in the standard symbian
calendar, all available synchronization options can be used, e.g. synchronizing
with Outlook, or with one of those web calendars.
The complete contents of OrgYou can be uploaded to your personal computer by
file exchange of the XML-file. There you can use it with OrgYou
for Windows®.
